I wish I knew the answer. I know why you ask, given that Bluetooth, despite being regarded as a standard by most people, is far from being a real standard. Very often, some Bluetooth devices will not work with another given Bluetooth device. Good luck with that. I am sorry again for being of not help.
Edit: here is a list of compatible phones according to BMW NA. If you are in a different country/region, I would look for a similar listing on the local BMW website.
You will need to find out from the dealer if the vehicle has Bluetooth...if not it can be added but the compatible phone list is different on the afterfactory ULF system than the factory Bluetooth system. Also, it is important what your server is (it effects the phones programming and thus the comptatability with the bluetooth in the BMWs) Go to http://www.bmwusa.com/owners/bluetooth/phones to see the factory Bluetooth compatibility list
