i used 15w-50 in the winter, i wasnt thinking straight, but its worked out fine even with cold temperatures, i would recommend 5w-40 or 0w-40 for winter, and 15w-50 or summer as well

Along with the oil study itself, I happened along an oil filter study site a few years ago. The information is interesting for those of us who do it ourselves and it is also interesting for those who get told by their retailer that one filter is better than another.
