I am looking to buy rims on my new Bimmer. I was told that 19" x 8.5 is the largest size I can go, without rolling the fender, rubbing, etc, etc......... Is this true?
you were misled brother..... 19's in any manner will rub, and need fender rollage.... If you do 19"s, better be willing to cut your fender lining, and pay minimum $50.00 a wheel to have the fenders rolled.... not worth it....I went through the trouble and sold the 19"s after I spent all the money on the customizing..

PS- this is the E36 forum....you should be asking the question in E46, FYI.....
You're right, this is the e36 forum, not the e46 forum....... But, all bimmerfreaks could help them who have questions..... Here's a good site for rims: http://www.tirerack.com/
