Manual Transmission ABS light coming on randomly

Hey all....I'm new to the forum here and hope you can provide some insight as to what is going on with my 2005 325i.

It's a manual transmission and I had two new tires put on in January. In February when I shifted into 3rd the ABS light came on (yellow triangle with a circle arrow around it) and the car loses power. It happened randomly. Now it's doing it more frequently and also when I shift into 4th.

Any idea what it may be? I got a new transmission and clutch about 2 years ago. I have an appt to take it in, but curious to know how much this could set me back.

How long since the brake fluid was changed? Old brake fluid can trip the light.

Not sure witeshark...I've taken it to the dealership for everything..all of the inspections, etc. I'm almost at 60K miles, so I'm not sure when they actually do it.
