M3motor swap into a 2000+ SEDAN possible?

I've been considering trading my 2000 V6 Accord in for something with a bit more balls n potential.

I've really liked the 2000 and up 3 series sedans, (yea im a sedan guy hehe), and unfortunatley they dont make the M3 in a 4 door (nor do I have the money for one hehe).

But wat I was wondering was, is it possible to swap in a M3 motor into the 330i Sedan?

I imagine that would make a SWEEEEET sleeper, and still have room to bring friends along in the back

Has this been done? Is it even possible?

I tried doing a search on ur forums, but for some reason, i keep getting a ERROR page whenever I do a search.

i have yet to hear anybody swapping for the M3 in the e46's. i do know several people have done that in their e36's. i am pretty sure that it can be done.

you could get a used 4 door M3

it would be way harder to do an e46 m3 motor swap than a e36 m3 motor swap. the e46 m3 motor is a totally different design and is a different shape and size than the regular engine. you would have to custamize the engine bay to get it to fit. then there are numerous electrical problems you will encounter, not to mention the tranny. it would be a pain in the ass to try to do that swap, but i bet it would have a sweet outcome. all in all the e46 m3 engine is to complicated to swap into a regular 3 series
