m3 lip

i'm lookin to get an m3 lip soon. but the one i found is unpainted. how much would it cost to have one painted my car color..Silver Gray Metallic? i'm hoping not too much since it is small. thanx.

If I'm thinking of the same lip isn't it usually left black? Like the ones that go on the bottom of the m3 bumper.

nah the m3 lip i meant was the m3 spoiler the one that is just a lil bit of a spoiler that goes on the trunk w/ 3M adhesive tape and needs to be painted.

Probably get a paintshop to spray and fit for £30 ($50)

I'd rather have a pro do it.......... that way you can blame and charge him if he fucks it up. You don't want it looking dodgy.

if you call your dealer they should be able to recommend you to the paintshop they send all of their goods to to be painted. when i bought my front license plate bracket thats where they sent me. i had to wait until they whipped up a batch to paint something larger(which was about two weeks) but since i did that they didn't charge me anything to paint it. turned out perfect. (see sig)

The OEM M3 lip spoiler is about $120 from the dealership and it is probably around $40 to paint it. And remember if you are a BMW CCA Member, you get 15% off.
