I have an e46 318. The problem I have is that the luggage compartment wont open using the button- the only way to open it is to use the remote key. My first reaction was to check the fuses but there is no fuse dedicated to the luggage compartment. Does anyone know how I can fix this? any help would be greatly appreciated.
Do your car doors lock automatically when you start driving?
Mine do and when this happens the boot locks - the only way to open the boot after than I have found is to take the key out of the ignition and open with the key.
Try opening the car from start and then trying the boot by hand see if that works?
