Lost audio code

Is it possible to get the audio code using the VIN#? I know that by removing the radio and from the serial number at the back the code can be found. Is there a better way (without having to remove the car radio)?

easiest way is to take it by the dealer and ask nicely for them to pull the radio and retrieve the code for you. Usually they will do this as a complimentary service (no charge).
