| Hello all. I just bought a 2001 330i from a BMW dealership (Wagner, for those in the MA area) and I am trying to adjust. My previous car was a 93 Ford Taurus (yikes!) and as you can imagine I have a lot of questions. First of all, the car is beautiful, and with only 32,000 miles (still has factory warranty left, plus a 2 year certified pre owned from the dealership that seems to cover everything the original does) it seems like it has barely been used. From doing some moderate price searching and comparison shopping, i am pretty certain I got a sweet deal. I am first of all looking to find an inexpensive replacement for the amber lights on the car. I have looked around and seen them as much as hundreds on OEM sites, or as cheap as 11.99 (eBay) I’m looking to get a package to replace all the amber lighting on the vehicle. Somewhere down the line, i am looking to upgrade the rim package either via trade or sale, possibly on this forum, because I am looking for more deep-dish style rims. Also, I was wondering if anyone had tips on using the steptronic system. I’ve never driven a manual vehicle of my own before, so before I try it on this one I’d like some tips. If anyone has anything to add that would be helpful, thank you. I already checked the sticky at the top for E46 owners and that was extremely helpful.
