License Plate Bracket

hey, my dad got pulled over (we are in california) for no license plate in the front. yes cops here are dicks. and he doesnt want to put it in the window...so now, im looking for the bracket to put the lisence plate on the front bumper. iv checked www.bavauto.com and searched google. this car is a 99 323i e46. before he goes to a dealership (he hates them) he wants to c if he can get it online. so if anyone has one for sale, or knows of a site, that i would greatly be appreciated. and can we get any bracket thats for a e46 for our car? if so if anyone can give me the link to a site that has it, THANKS

You can get a licence plate bracket that "snaps" into the front bumper. You can try Circle BMW (http://www.circlebmw.com/parts/parts.html) or Pacific BMW (http://www.pacificbmw.com/) and they can ship one straight to you. I actually have one in my garage, but I'm trying to sell it together w/ the bumper. Don't think your dad's looking to spend that much on one.

yea thats wat i neeed, thanks for the links. do u want to trade them? ur license plate bracket for the strip? huh huh pacific doesnt have it, or i couldnt find it and the circle bmw gives this diagram (below) im not sure wat parts to order from that...do i get 15,29,30, and 31? or just 15....o_0 that would be great if u want to trade

You need 4 of each of the 29,30,31 unless they come 4 in a bag. 15 is what you need unless you want the Euro bracket(14).

o_0 so i get 4 of the 29, 4 of the 30, and 4 of the 31 with 15? ghead: ughh confused, i just want the part to replace the front strip on the bumper to hold a license plate...

edie: o wait my bad, those r the screws....never noticed that. so 4 peices of the 19,30,31 and part #15 is all i need?

No, all you need is 15. Take off 16 and place 15 in its place. That's all. Unless those are the screws that hold the plate onto the bracket. Not quite sure. If that's the case, then yes, you'll need 4 of those.
