knocking from Near Side Front when driving

Hi there everybody i'm new to this site and after a little help. i've only owned my E46 330i m sport for 4-5 months now when i first got it, it was like a brand new car and seeing as it has 60,000 miles i was most impressed but the past month or so its started to knock from the n/s/f the noise doent change when braking so i'd say the brakes wouldn't have anything to do with it and i've changed the front anti-roll bar tie rod/bar so can anybody out there help me as its getting worse

Broken spring, wheel bearing,loose caliper, suspension bush, what I would do is go to your local tyre place and get it up on a lift and they will find it for you, which wont cost you penny,as you dont have to get them to repair it. This is what I do when I get a problem I cant see without getting the car in the air.

ok thanks for that i've haven't thought of that would a tyre place just put my car up on a ramp without needing tyres

Yes, go to one that advertises, tyres, brakes, shocks etc, and say ive got a problem and just explain and they will have it the air, if they are not busy before you can blink ha ha!!
