I like the intake roar. I cant say for sure if it really made a difference. I now have a Dinan chip and with the combo of the two, I feel a difference. You definetly get the cool tone with the cone filter. I got mine off of Ebay for $53.00. Probably be cheaper for your car, cause its newer.
The $200+/- kits come with a cone filter and a duct that routes the filter below the headlight, so it can truly take in cold air. If you just buy the filter and attach it to your MAS, you'll be sucking in hot air from the engine bay.
WHOOOOOOOAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!! Like that. I dont really notice it revving it up while parked. But get on the road, get about 4k rpm's and let her ripppppp!!!!! Beautiful!!! To me it was $55 ish dollars well spent!!
I just got the Panel Filter and the seat-of-your-pants-test i felt a differance and it has the tube that that goes from the box to the panel behind the headlights to suck in cold air
on another topic i'm getting a turbo and manifold from a 524td with the line for 125 the panel filter with a turbo = FUN!
