Just Got An Inspection Ii @65k Mi

Went to the dealer for an Instespection II and to add an alarm system.

He said that all these were needed:

Most Important
$444.14 Control Arm Bushings broken, Replace...
$102.82 DME reprograming (my car thinks it's a coupe convertable)...
$218.01 Belts (2 belts @$35 each + labor)

Needed Soon (Spring time)
2 x $429.28 + Tires... I have two warped rims (freakin previous owner hit a pot hole and never fixed)

I ordered the Bently Repair manual for the E46 chassis. Hopefully, I could do the rest on my own, except the rims... Anyone know of a good cheap source for BMW rims (not knock-offs)?

BTW, I went to Hunterdon BMW in Lebanon, NJ. They were the cheapest and the closest to my house. Other dealers wanted $550, $750, and $950 for an Inspection II.

If that is one control arm bushing then it is a bit expensive but for two it's a steal.
I would see if they will reprogram the DME for free as your car is definately not a coupe nor a convertable. And I would assume then that it has been that way since it was built as most of us do not have access to the required equipment to reprogram a module.
There are quite a few places that can straighten a bent rim for alot less than a new one. Ask a local tire place you trust for a recomendation in your area. There are also ads in the back of most car magazines for this service but then you incure a shipping cost, which we would all hate to pay on a rim.
