Just Got A 330ix (2002) - Does Hk Sound...

Hi guys, I just purchases a 330xi (2002) with 14,000K (8600 miles); it was a demo unit. I pick it up in 3 days after the dealer "certified warranty" sale is over. My question is this, I know in the earlier 3 series 99, 2000, and 2001 the Harmon Kardon sound system wasn't that great. Does the system still leave something to be desired or had it been upgraded by then (I'm not holding my breath).

I've got the HK in my 2004, and it's the best factory system i've ever had. 2 gripes:The CD player skips easily(I got an I-pod adapter now tho), and I do have a Santana CD where the midrange guitar parts buzz a few of the speakers...the frequency filtering to individual speakers could have been better I think. But all in all it's an awesome sound system for factory.

Here's hoping. Believe it or not, I haven't taken this car out for a test drive. I test drove a 325xi and figured other than a little more spunk the 330xi would be basically be identical so I didn't bother hitting the road with it. Now I wish I had basically to hear the stereo system in it.
