Just bought me a 325, please help me!

Hello everyone!

I just bought me a BMW 325CI -01, and I have some questions I don't seem to find in the manual.

1. When I unlock my car with the "remote control" after having it locked for some hours it seems like only the "driver door" is getting unlocked, not the other door.
Is there any way to make the booth doors unlock the same time?

But if I lock my doors and like a minute later unlocks it, booth doors unlock - How come it's like that?


2. When I first unlock my door(s), then holding down the unlock key for some seconds, both the front and backwindows are opening - But when I then after am holding down the unlock key to close the windows, just the frontwindows are closing, not the backwindows - Is there any way to close them without doing it from inside the car?


I don't know if you can answer my questions here, I found this forum through google - But you guys seem to know your thing

1. Press the unlock button a second time and it should unlock the passenger door. This is the default response of the remote.

2. Can't help you here since I have a cabrio and this feature isn't present in my car, but it doesn't sound right. I would think that the back windows shoudl come up, too.

1. Double tap ur unlock button and it unlocks both.

2. Put your key in the door and hold it in the lock position for about 5 seconds, and all the windows (including moon roof) will close. Havent gotten anyway to have the remote do it, but the key in the lock works like a charm.

BTW, congrats on the new bimmer!

i heard an explanation once (not sure if its true) that the reason you can't close all of the windows with the remote but can open them is that BMW wants you to be near your car when the windows are closing since kid's hands and stuff can get pinched
