damn d00d that's gorgeous! I wouldn't start messing with it until addequate research is done on those engines. I assume those engines are new? If not check out TMS, BavAuto, or other repuatble BMW retailers
The 320si is a special version built in 2006 and limited to 2600 units. Inspired by touring car racing, the 320si is uses a high revving engine (max 8000 rpm) similar in size to the 320i, but with reduced stroke (by 2 mm to 88 mm) and increased bore (by 1 mm to 85 mm). Compression ratio is also increased to 11,0:1. The engine is mostly hand built, and does not have valvetronic, thus decreasing the number of moving parts for increased high-revving capability.
The engine is a N45B20S 2.0 (1997cc) 4-cyl, 16-valve that puts out 173hp and 148lb-ft.

Seems kinda odd that the S14 put down 200+ mph back in '88 but this one only puts down 173 some 18yrs. later and with an 8k redline? Not that there's anything wrong with that, just seems like they could have done more with it if they had kept the valvetronic. I don't really see where Vavletronic should interfere with the ability to revv either. Just look at the first gen. S2000's, they had some ungodly rev. ablitiy but I'm pretty sure they were V-Tech as well. Which is another reason they put down like 240hp. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hatin on your car man, it's an engine tuners wet dream and beautiful to boot! I'm just wonderin! SWEET RIDE-CONGRATS! Oh and as far as mods, I would definitly start with a Dinan chip if there's one out there yet! I'd say on a handbuilt Hi-Rev job like yours, that would definitly be the most bang for the buck! Then I would go with a really good exhaust setup, maybe a Billy Boat or something of that callibur. Maybe check into how restrictive your intake is, but in my experience CAI's are a waste of time and money and unless you get a really good one and are pulling alot more than stock CFM through it, you may even lose hp! But again with it being a high rev mill, you may stand to benefit from a good one. Good luck and happy motoring!
