Jeep Grand Cherokee Hemi V8 Vs Bmw 325xi Vs. Audi

Anyone seen the dumb commerical where Jeep was comparing a Hemi V8 against a BMW 325xi and an Audi TT? I saw one where they included an Acura RSX.

Whats up with the dumb comparison? Why not try a BMW 4.6is or an M3/M5 against the Hemi V8.

Wow! the fastest jeep can beat the slowest BMW 3 series by .6 seconds.

Hmm... if they put it against 330xi (which is closer in price) it would lose.

Or put it up against an ACTUAL vehicle in it's class like an X5 (4.4 or 4.8). I think for the most accurate study compare SUV's to SUV's with comparable engines.

Dumb thing is, chances are if you purchased an xi you didnt do it for speed so what ahould it matter.

Exactly my feelings on reading this post. I dont give a rats ass if the jeep is faster than my Bimmer, by all means make it faster. Can you gimme the style and luxury of a Bimmer in a Jeep.....dont think so. So if you want speed why dont you buy a Nascar chevy mod??? Thats fast aint it? Sure its go no shocks, you got to climb in from the window and there are roll bars up your wazoo....but hey its fast.....DUMB DUMB DUMB......if they think we buy bimmers for speed.....its for the pleasure baby....pleasure.

Jeep forgot to mention that hemi is getting 7 mpg with acceleration like that and no way that top heavy suv can realistically maintain that in a turn against even the slowest BMW.

I hate it when marketing ploys are exagerrated or take a shot at other vehicles by comparing their top of the line model/engine vs. anothers base model/base engine ..... I mean do they really think people are that gullible???

I've owned a Heep, I mean Jeep, before and I own an '05 325xi now. Jeeps are poorly manufactured junk to put it mildly. Pieces of shit to put it plainly.

There is no comparison between any BMW and a Jeep. BMWs are made to be driven. Jeeps are made to spend time in the repair shop.
