IPod in the UK

Hey All

Im new to this forum (which is great) and had as couple of questions

I (my parents actually) ordered a 320d sport a couple of weeks ago and expecting it late september, anyway ive seen the ipod connection in the US, im in the UK and was wondering if anyone knows when it will be coming to the UK, i mean when official UK BMW dealers will fit it

I AM TRYING TO GET A CONNECTION FOR MY I-RIVER (SIMULAR TO IPOD) AND I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP A FEW WEEKS AGO TO ASK WHAT COULD BE DONE.

THEY SHOWED ME A NOTE ON THEIR INTERNAL WEB SITE THAT SAID THAT THE NEW 1 SERIES WILL HAVE A PHONO PLUG TO CONNECT MP3 PLAYERS ETC BUT IT ALSO SAID THAT BMW UK HAVE NO PLANS TO LAUNCH THE IPOD KIT FOR THE CURRENT E46 IN THE UK!!!
