I was just told by my BMW dealer that the Ipod can't be installed with NAV. I have a 2003 325i. Has anyone heard if they will be able to do this in the very near future? ghead

yea i was just at my dealer a couple days ago, he said that due to many complaints and suggestions BMW is working on iPod compatibility with nav systems that might be out late this year/early next year.
also, as a alternative, BMW has an audio auxiliary input they can install in your glovebox, and you can connect any audio device (including an iPod) to it. I personally just got xm radio installed for the mean time and am waiting for the iPod/nav.
