Hearing noise on my 2000 328Ci from Instrument Cluster, its like some air leakage, when you turn the ignition ON/OFF it makes that air leak noise and also when you put in drive and start going MPG guage needle makes the same noise when it goes up and down mostly and when needle fiddles in between i took it to dealer couple of times they told me its normal i don't see it as normal, need opinions regarding this issue with thanks.
take it to a second dealership... after all it is under warranty right? If you raise enough hell that usually gets the problem fixed...

I took it to Momentum BMW in Houston hopefully they will take care of it i also wrote to Leonara at BMW NA she called me back so hopefully it will be taken care of either way, i will keep you guys posted with the update, with thanks.

Glad we could help! A few of us don't like to get screwed by the dealer but when worse comes to worse please call BMW NA and raise hell! Your point WILL get across... BMW does not take kindly to unscrupulous dealers...

Hi Everyone! looks like there was problem with the Instrument Cluster and Momentum BMW Houston found out the same i am glad i took it there, they ended up replacing the Instrument Cluster with the new one and noise is gone and its as good as new...and yeah i wrote letter to BMW NA Customer Relations they were good too and they followed up promptly so thumbs up for them too.
