Installing Bumper cover - BMW Forum

I parked too close to the median and ripped my bumper off as i backed up. It snapped the clips and the mounts on the actual bumper. I ordered a new bumper cover but i have been told it is difficult to install. Any pointers?

You might want to clue us in on the model (e46/e90) and year of your car and whether it was the front or rear bumper.

+1, That model of the car would be a big help.

So, you are not the only person to do this. My aunt did the same thing to her front bumper with her 5 series.

I wish someone would reply to the post above. Some previous owner ripped the splash-guards with the OAT off my 2000 323i and left the front bumper crooked. Replacing the splash-guards and OAT was no big deal but the bumper?? A BMW shop quoted me some $200. Does someone have some better suggestion. The plastic bumper-cover looks OK but is out by about an inch on one side.
