My car is getting closer to the 50000 miles mark, can you guys tell me when am I supposed to take my car for inspection, how many inspections there are, what do they do on the car, and how much it is? Just wondering now that my car's warranty is going to expired, thanks
Pretty sure inspections are supposed to be every 30,000 miles. At 30K an Insp.I, at 60K an Insp.II, repeat. Some folks might do them every 15K, just to keep up on the preventative maintenance.
If you can find a Bentley manual at a local car shop or a bimmer dealership, somewhere in the front pages is a list of what they do at each inspection.
The inspections aren't cheap. If you're half-way handy as a DIY'er, I'd recommend purchasing the tools and parts yourself.
