Inner Tails

Ok. So i called up Bav auto looking for some inner tails for my 01, to match my new clears that i got from them. They said they only offer them for sedans 02-03. I went ahead and got the P/Ns from them; as i am 90% certain the inner tails did not change with the minor facelift on the E46 in 2002.

What i need to know is, are the inner tails in fact different between 2001 and 2002? I have looked at bimmers in person and pics on the boards, and i cannot seem to see any difference in size or shape.

Has anyone had any experience in this area? If i dont get any replies, I will just buy them and see first hand

the tail lights on the trunk lid, the reverse lights.

AH! Yes.... I was wondering about those as mine are no longer white, thier more of a yellow/brown tint, getting new clears would contrast with the "inner tails". If you buy them, please do post on thier fitting, I'm assuming that the E46 of '02 is the same as the ones in '99?
