Hello All,

I have 2001 325i,standard shift.I see the RPM on my car going 3500 while going on 80 miles/hr speed. Is this normal or higher.

I have 2002 325i with manual transmission. at 80mph rpm's are 3500, 5th gear.
Old Honda Civic with automatic 4 speed transmission does the same thing.
Hope this helps

bimmas dont have overdrive like american cars.... so you will have higher revs in 5th than in an american car, but cars with overdrive have absolutely no power in OD
