Do you have an M3, a 5 series, or a 7 series? If not, I don't suggest going with that wide of a rim in the rear...it will most likely stick out too far. I say that since I have a 99 323i, and the wheel offset is 35mm on my aftermarket wheels. This gives it an aggreasive stance, but they are still within the fenders. See if this link helps to clarify any parts of the "offsets" of wheels, if you are not sure how this factors in.
