I'm Screwed, Help My Car Died

My car has been stolling once in a while out of nowhere, it started about a year ago, and finaly it died for good.
Last week it stoled on a red light, and I can't drive it since then. The engine is running though, but when I push the gas pedal it goes up to 2000 RPM and stoles again. At the very beginning I was able to drive on really low RPM's for few feet, now I can't even move an inch. The check engine, EML and DSC lights are ON.
Could it be the fuel pump, fuel delivery, Oxygen sensor, camshaft sensor or maybe vacuum leak? How do I determin which of these, I don't have a comp to check it myself, I don't want to tow the car to BMW and be at their mercy. It happened to others, they spent thousands and waited for months, it tourned out it was only the resetting. Could be different with me though.
Please give me some advices.
For all Los Angeles members; do you know a decent place to go and fix it, without paying an outragous amount of money.
You can't live in LA and not have a car.
