| If there is a line in on the back of the cd player then it should work with either system. If you get an FM modulator for either system then it will work with the radio on your factory deck.
As to how to remove the cd player, it is actually very easy. Start by removing the trim piece on the passengers side dash, pull gently on the edge that is exposed where the door meets the dash on the passenger side. Next take a plastic ruler or something similar and carefully slide it between the trim piece and the dash as the piece comes off. You have to be careful not to tear or gouge the dash as you do this. Once this long trim piece is off, move to the next trim piece around the radio. This one should only have one clip on the right side and needs a little wiggling to remove once it has been popped out of the clip. Once this piece is off, use a philips screw driver to remove the two screws from the deck and it should slide out. Next, take a slotted screw driver and pry up on the black connector assembly at the back left hand side of the deck (it should have a picture on the plastic on how to do this). When the connector has the pried part at the top, the housing should lift up a little and slide off the back. Hope this helps. |
