I noticed a few threads for people looking for auto trans. fluid, and some dealerships told them they have to buy it by the barrel. Well, my local BMW dealership parts guy told me all I have to do is bring a suitable container, and he'll sell me as much as I need.
Actually you do not have to spend money on original BMW auto transmission fluids.Pennzoil/Quaker State multivehicle semi synthetic ATF`s, as well as Amsoil, Red Line and Valvoline Mercon V, are fully approved ATF`s for all special fluids BMW uses in their auto trannies(Texaco, Esso. Shell)-Confirmed and field tested by these compannies engineering dept. !
