I am now starting the same retrofit on a e60, but have a question. My e60 as your e46 I believe, has that "unlock" button on the original shifter. The one you press when removing from "park" or entering "park", how did you get around this issue? I mean, how do you "exit" P or enter the shifter in P with this new shifter??
Please help me out.
