it's not in the manual, I can't figure out how to do it....
I can't figure out how to remove the battery tray in my 04 325i
I take off the little plastic screws holding the tray down in the front, but... all I can do is lift up the front... it seems attached at the back.. I can't tell if it is attached to metal, or plastic, or even the fabric trunk lining... but, I can't get it to come out... and I fear I'm just bending the plastic or something....
do I have to remove all the plastic trim on that side to remove it? i.e. the rear brakelight housing, the plastic under that, the trunk lining....
I mean, I can lift it up enough to gain access to the battery... but I know I couldn't take it out that way... it just seems rediculous to think that I should have to take apart half the trunk to take out the tray....
anyway...
please, if anyone can help... I'm stuck...
