I just bought a 04 325i new but it was a demo with 1200 miles on it and I got $2500 off the sticker. The dealer told me they would give me $2500 off the sticker of any of the 04's they had, they had three.
When I bought my 04 xit back in May I got about 2200. off sticker. That was after lots of negotiation and with some extras. I think I did pretty well considering how hard it is to find one in the first place. You are going to love the wagon- it's a real blast to drive plus you can still haul quite a bit in it.
We ordered our 325xit last July and got it loaded to the gills - NAV, Xenon, premium, cold weather, CD changer, rear sensors, all weather mats, cover and more - for $44k, including tax. Funny thing was, when we ordered, it was for a 2004 but the dealer called and asked if we'd be OK with it being a 2005 at the same price. Needless to say, we had no problems with that. Took delivery at the beginning of October and have been in heaven ever since.
i just sealed it today. $19xx.00 off sticker '05 325xit. it all depends on options, in stock, allocations or modified production orders and more.to add to the negotiating confusion 2 "executive" '04 325xit's were available 5-6k off sticker fully loaded minus NAV. very sweet offer but i rather break it in than get options on a used vehicle. they're still available at ParkAvebmw.com ignore the pricetag they will easily take $35,995.00 each (silver/red)

Edmunds show that sticker (for 2005 325XiT) is little more than $3000 above invoice. If I get $1500 or $1700 below sticker is that a screaming deal?
VW and Infiniti quickly offer new '05s at $500 above invoice. No such thing at BMW?
Agreed. After much research and test drives myself the Bimmer came off like a true bargain. The others were OK but not really close to the 3. Many people are surprised it did not cost at least another 5k. Enjoy your new ride!
