Since you own the car. Also do you work on it and have the dealer take care of it. I am asking this because I am buying the e46. I know its expensive but I would like to know to what extent. I have no problem maintaining the car but sometimes things can go really bad that it might not even be worth it.
I purchased my 323i over a year ago with $80.00 oil changes and sensors going bad and going to the dealership it has cost me abou $2500 but you got to realize your driving "The ultimate driving machine". I think it's worth it.
mines a 2000 E46, owned it for 2 years. had to go to the dealer prob 3 times total...maintenence and other small problems...all for free under warranty
mines an '03 and all of my maintenance i've had done so far were covered under warranty. the only thing that i had to pay was a new tire when my tire blew out. tires and wheels are a couple of things that are not covered under warranty.
I see that most of you bought the car new from the dealer. Seems to me you guys dont have much problem (better not cuz its a new car). I am planning to buy used one so that became an issue since I dont get the benefits of free stuff ghead
