Hood emblem

The hood emblem on my 2003 325xi has lost the colors. I have found a new emblem on line that has two screws attached to the back of it, but don't see how to remove the old one. Doesn't seem to have any access from inside the hood.
Any suggestions

I popped mine out with a pocket screw driver and soft rag. It takes some doing to get it to pop out. There are two little plastic nubs that push into the hood that new badge will push into.

yup, just pop it right out. takes about a min to replace it. i had the same problem and was just ???????? but its really simple
