Hey I just joined a couple of days ago. I drive a 2003 325i. My car is still under warranty, and i wanted to improve the preformance. I have never done any major changes. All i have done so far is add a spoiler and tint. I was going through the site and looking at stuff. I want to add clear corners next. I was wondering if there is anything any one recommends i can do that wont void the warranty or anything i can do that can be easily undone before i take the car in for a service.

Apparently there are some flash upgrades that can retain your original engine settings and can be reset by you before you take the car in for any servicing.

Some people will recommend a Cold Air Intake/CAI. I have my own thoughts about that stuff. My feeling is this. A CAI may increase your performance, but it isn't because it is making the air colder, it is more likely that it is just a freer flowing air filter element.

I haven't done any performance upgrades to my car, but the next thing on my list is a short shifter kit. That won't really improve your performance (except by shortening the distance/time between shifts), but it should tighten up the rather lose feel of the OEM shifter.

My buddy had an S2000 and now has a 350Z. I would like to try and get the shifter closer to either of those in feel.
