Help! - Small damp patch under car after parking

Hi to you all, my 2000 E46 330ci cabriolet has developed a leak, i've done 53,000 miles and its not due a service for another 5k...

I have recently noticed a small damp patch on the ground under the car after parking up. I have rubbed the liquid though my fingers, smelt it and tasted it (silly I know) and I would say it is propably water. Its not greasy, oily or got a smell or colour, and its clear.

It is dripping from the very middle of the car, just to the side of the exhaust pipe. It starts dripping after the car has been parked up for about 1 hour.

I have read from other posts that this might be A/C condensate, but its not that hot here in the UK at the moment, and I am not too sure this is the cause, it has only started recently. The A/C has not really been on...

I have no loss of power or over heating issues, or any other niggles.

Any ideas?

Do you use the defroster alot?
By default the a/c it is turned on to Dry the air.... (The mosture in the air condenses on the Evap. and drips out threw the drain tube)

^ i'm pretty sure it is just his A/C.... The defroster turns it on automatically even if the A/C button isn't on...
