help with performance on my 320td ?!?

i have 320td compact and the spec says it should be 150bhp, but i dont think that im gettin that performance, i have a friend who also has a 320td and after driving his im sure mine is definetly lacking power in the turbo, any ideas on what i could do to improve the performance ???

ok thanks, im booked in for a service saterday so il see if a new diesel filter makes a difrence, a friend told me that taking it to bmw and having it re-mapd to factory settings would help, i dont realy know if this is possible or worth doing??? any help/advice appreciated
