Alright since this is my first time buying a BMW im going to the pro's to get all the info about buying a good car. Im interested in the 2002 325i. Is there anyone out there who can tell me what sort of things go out first in these cars. The one im interested in has 60500 miles, its white without the special package and the guy is asking 8,500 for it. It looks like its in great shape.

A good choice for the money. Check the electrical system/power equipment and the climate system. Those were a bit of a trouble spot on the '02.

Couldn't see link, but check rear subframe and make sure it goes into reverse crisply (if it's an automatic). Is it one owner?

Don't buy it, BMW's are garbage for the money. They are less reliable than FIATS
