| help in installing SWI-RC's steering wheel control
I installing a Kenwood KDC BT852HD into my 2001 E46 330ci. However I am stumped about what needs to be done to connect the PAC SWI-RC. The instructions say “Connecting the SWI-RC's steering wheel control input wire to vehicle plug. Connect the SWI-RC's Yellow wire to White/Red/Yellow-dots or White/Gray/Yellow-dots .You must get the wire at the steering wheel column. Cut wire in half. Connect the INTERFACE's Yellow wire to the steering wheel side of the cut wire. Insulate remaining cut wire. “ The word cut and steering wheel column makes me a but uncomfortable. But with some help I am sure I can pull it of. So where to I find the dotted wire? Do I have to remove something in the area of the column to get to it? |
