Help IDENTIFY engine parts! I have a 2002 325i. I dont know what each one of these engine parts are.
The one in the red has broken mounts on it and the one in the yellow is really greasy. I got the car 2 days ago and didnt buy a repair manual yet. thanks.

NO! The reverse; I was using the driver position as reference to the sides of the car... Yellow > power steering, red > windscreen wash tank

From this angle, it's clearly not the wash tank... can you see what it's connected to underneath?

Whatever it is has clearly been by-passed; you may wanna get a manual or the advise of a dealer to make sure you find out what it is.
