Help? I Hear A "click" From The Front Underside

Hi all,

Help? I hear a "click" from the front underside only when I turn right hard...

Its not a loud noise, but it worries me - has anyone have any idea what this could be? It sounds as though some plastic piece might of snapped off. But it seems to sound once (in every turn) only when I make a hard right turn.

I plan on bringing it in when I have other service to be done - I hope its not a big deal - it doesn't affect handling (that I can feel at least).

Any ideas?

Interesting, I hear the same click. I thought it may have been a CV joint, but I have inspected the boots and they seem to be intact. What are you driving? I have a 2003 330CI.

Can you descibe it? I'm interested.

I am driving a 2000 328Ci - and it doesn't happen on slow, left or gentle turns. Only when turning right. It sounds kind of like something underneath has been pulled out of place (but only once during each turn)

I hope it's not a wheel bearing about to go.

Any other ideas...

It is one or two clicks. It happens intermittently and only on the right hand side. I have noticed it over the past few weeks.

Its only one click - and only happens when I pull a hard turn above a certain speed. So gentle turns are fine, only if I take a hard corner at 20km or something. I'm always expecting another click back after I take the turn as though it snaps back in... but there is no other click, only the initial one when I first take the right turn. Left turn is fine.

I have searched the internet for any information regarding this. I have not been able to find anything. It does not affect the drivability of the car so I am going to wait until my service II and mention it then. Good Luck
