HELP 2001 325i issues :o(

Thanks for reading and any possibile advice, i have a 2001 BMW 325i with 108,000 miles. About 9 days ago my serp. belt snapped..i lost my power steering, what i also lost was my fan to cool my car. Long story short, i had to replace my serp belt and get a new radiator as i had cracked it. I got it fixed 499 bucks later. I pick up my car from the shop and it does not drive the same, there is a lost of power on acceleration..it seems also as if the car hesitates and slips?? when accelerating(the engine light has been on as well). i took the car back to the shop today, and was told the problem(described above)was due to bad spark plugs and that i need a new mass air flow sensor(the shop said they could clean it, but the chems in the cleaning solution could make the problem worse?) Could the problem be something else? Like a vaccum hose, fuel pump? Cataylic Converter?? Any help...the shop said the codes they got when they scanned the car indicated what they told me, but my friend had the same issue and he bought a mass air flow sensor...and it turned out to be his fuel pump...

Was there any damage caused when the belt broke?
Was the colling system bled properly?
Is the car running in its usual temperature range?
Does the power loss extend throughout the rev range?

Thanks for taking the time to comment!!!...The raidiator was cracked due to the belt snapping and my fan going out(but that has been fixed, i am not to sure if it was bled at all, the shop never mentioned anything about it being bled so i am not sure(should it have been?), as far as i know all they did was hook it up to a computer and scan it. The car is running in it's normal temperature, after fixing the radiator and
no it does not extend throughout the rev range, just taking off and when i am shifting to 2nd and 3rd gear
