Harmon Kardon Upgrade Problems

Hi everybody.
This is my first post, I have recently bought a 2000 323 ci and I'm over the moon with it apart from the stereo. I have the opportunity to buy a complete HK speaker/amp upgrade. Does anyone know if this is compatible with my standard head unit? Are there pre-outs for the HK amps on the existing head unit? Does the sub-woofer amp connect to the head unit, or an output on the other HK amp?

The existing system is just the business radio/6 disc changer with the rear shelf speakers and front door 'woofers' and tweeters.
The upgrade consists of HK amp with 6 speakers, and the double subs with small amp attached.

Is there such a thing as a wiring diagram for the HK upgrade?

I have searched the forum and couldn't find the relevant info, I would very much appreciate any information on any of the above questions!
Many thanks in advance
James

Q: are your HK's specifically for BMW?... if not, you'll need to make sure you have room to sit the new speakers where the old one's used to be.

I'm not exactly sure, but aftermarket items usualy need for you to put additional speaker holes in the doors and elsewhere, or modify the mounts. just make sure you plan ahead... see that the speakers don't interfere with the door electrics and mechanism/s

Good Luck.
