Getting a Navigation Unit - BMW Forum

hey guys, I was just curious cause I really want one of those Navigation units. My mom makes me run arrands all over LA... new port beach and all over to deliver stuff for her job. I really think a Navigation system will greatly help me. other than having to look at that STUPID thomas guide that has given me a paper cut today!!! BLARG

Tell your mom you're fileing a work comp claim on her for the paper cut if she doesn't get you a Nav unit. :lol: :P

Most dealers wont even do it as it is such a PITA to fit it to a car that came without it. as an option its $1800(with a cd changer) but i would think its probably around 2-3x more with installation and other components needed to install it. your better off getting one of those aftermarket gps systems, but it wont look as nice.
