How easy is it to replace the gear knob and surround?
It tried pulling the leather up, but was met with a lot of reistance.
Also, i've no idea how to take the old knob off.
Any help appreciated.
Hi, I have a 318i E90 (55) and have been looking for an answer on this too. The fella who previously owned mine must have worn a knuckle duster 24/7 as my is scratched all to hell. I hear that on the old touring it was a simple case of pulling the thing off.... well not so simple really.
I got mine off. Literally just pulled off. Make sure your face isn't over it tho!!
Does anyone know how to take off the handbrake, looking to replace it along with the gaiter??
