gear knob

hey guys my gear knob is abit damaged so i went and bought i brand new aliminium one but i cant seem to get the old one off, has anyone else had the same problem? and if so how did u get the gear knob off, also its a auto gear knob

Just pull harder. Seriously -- it s only held in by pressure/contact. You'll have to put in a lot of strength. And be sure not to hit yourself on the forehead once it pops off!

ah k so i guess im not pulling hard enough hahah, yea i afraid of breaking somethin, does it just pop off or is it a twist i kno manual ones r twist but im not sure bout auto's ive neva changed an auto one

Put in 'N', depress the lever and pull straight up.....not with your face over it....
