G35 to 328xi or 335xi?

Greetings - newbie here and very interested in an experts opinion. I've had an 03 G35 sedan for over 4 years now and although I absolutely love the car I'm looking to get into a BMW for a change and a more enthusiastic driving experience.

Coming from a G35, what would you guys recommend - 07/08' 328xi or 335xi sedan? (I live in Canada)

I've heard and read some not so great things about the fuel pumps in 07 and 08 years in the 335 so I'm a little hesitant despite really liking how it drives. On the other hand, the 328 on paper looks like it goes toe to toe with my G but I don't want to waste my time with one if it's going to disappoint. Haven't driven one yet.

I figure you guys know these cars inside and out so I appreciate any response at all.

Cheers

Both cars are pretty much the same except for the powerplant.
So it all depends on if you want that extra power.
The 328xi is more than capable, but the 335xi definitely has more grunt.

TBH I would go for the Straight-Six as they are better balanced, and the 3.5 isn't far away in power terms anyway !!
