fuel pump disassemble

Hi guys.. i need your help one more time.

My fuel pump died on me .. i order a new one from e-bay ( 70$ cost )

anyways... i know that changing it sounds easy.. because i thought so myself, so just to be sure, yesterday i took the rear seat off , took the fuel pump cover off .

then i took the fuel pump out of the tank. so far so good.

but when i tried to remove the fuel pump from the whole thing ( dunno what its called , but it holds the pump and the leveler and the filter all together ) , i couldn't .. i was afraid i will brake something if i put too much force to it ..

so i thought i should ask you guys first you always seem to have an answer for everything.. i did search the DIY section here and on some other forums .. but no luck .

any ideas how to disassemble it ?
