Fuel & Engine Treatment Additives - 325XI

Hi all,

I have a 02-325XI with almost 120k on it. I'm working on its fuel efficiency. I'm wondering if anyone of you have used eangine treatment chemicals that are supposed to improve your vehicle performance? Partiucularly a brand that is called Slick 50Plus.

I'm wondring if they do what they say they do also if they are compatible with BMW engine parts? If you got into any troubles after using them and so on.

Any comments ... or may suggest another brand/ type ...

Try Lucas Oil fuel system treatment. I used it on my wife's 2000 323I and had good results.

Farhadbimmer. DO NOT use Slick 50 Engine Treatment in your
cars engine. PTFE treatments do not work. They may clog the
oil filter.

Auto-Rx your engine. Use a non Group IV or Group V base stock oil, Group III is fine, and you wil be amazed at the difference. If you have more than 100,00 miles use the two botle plan. I'm 2,500kms into a 5,000kms clean phase on my E46 2001 325CI, difference already is amazing.
