What bulbs does the e46 use in the front turn signals?

my friend has a e46 saloon and im goign to buy him some hyper whites. I need the type quickly so i can send it by todays mail. His BDAY is in 2 days and he lives int he midwest.

Is the bulb single or double filament?

My 2002 325i front turn signals are single filament. They are 1156s, I believe.
