My Front Head Light warning light (left driver side) is on. I've check the head light, high beam turn signal (front and side) they all function properly. Anyone have a clue as to what could be causing the warning light?
I don't think the position on the dash tells you exactly which light it is, I think the front warning light is indicating a problem with a front bulb but not necessarily the side indicated on the dash. I sometimes get mine showing up for the rear even though there is not a problem. It has a mind of its own....
It means one of your bulbs is about to fail or has failed. When the light is on check all of the lights to see which one it is. I had the exact same problem twice, once with the front left directional and once with the left rear brake light. The indicator came on desptie the bulbs working. Close examination of the brake bulb revealed a damaged filament. Took a week before the directional bulb went before I figured out which one it was. Exams of the bulbs showed nothing until it actually went. Replaced them both and the problem was solved.
